2010-2011 Programs
Each area of the classroom is specifically designed to challenge and excite your child. The exploratory nature of our program enhances fine motor skills, literacy, sorting & matching skills and is developmentally appropriate. As children enter the preschool and kindergarten years, they begin to explore the world through indirect experiences such as stories, pictures, and books. Information gained in this way becomes the basis for imaginative play which takes children beyond the here and now. At this stage, play activities such as drawing, building with blocks, dance, music, and crafts help children expand their knowledge and understanding of the world while developing eye-hand coordination and other motor skills. Children also become increasingly focused on peers at this stage. They benefit from play activities, props, and toys that encourage them to interact with others and engage in 'dramatic' make-believe play.

- 3-5 year old class - Meeting Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m This class offers a gradual introductory to structure and is pleasantly balanced with free choice time. All the ideas featured above are experienced in this class aiding in future academic success for your child.
- 4-5 year old class - Meeting Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m In addition to the above descriptions, the 4-5 year old class has enhanced structured activities that boosts your child's readiness for kindergarten and the love of learning.
- Toddler Time - ages 18 months to 3 years old. Expand both you and your child's world in this once a week class! Perfect for the new, or soon to be, walker. The classroom is a stimulating adventure for your little one. These precious moments discovering a new world are shared with the child's parent or caregiver. In addition, each week you participate in a much needed support circle with discussions on parenting, child development and more.
- Discovering Science - for children ages 3-5. Experiential and hands-on, this class allows your preschooler the opportunity to do, using all their senses. Weekly themes and activities designed to inspire inquiry and more inquiry. Meets once a week on Mondays.
