We will be offering virtual preschool for the fall opening.
Tuition has been adjusted to $40 a month for the toddler class and $80 a month for the 3-5 year classes while we remain virtual. Adjustments will be made as phases change.
Our virtual program will include:
“Keep at Home Preschool” bins:
Circle Time, via Zoom
SCP members are dual enrolled with Edmonds College as well. This brings a college worth of family life education to the parents in our program.
Our virtual program will include:
“Keep at Home Preschool” bins:
- At Registration each student will receive their own SCP bin to borrow that contains prepared activities focusing on learning objectives, social emotional development and excitement to continue learning.
- Custom videos or written instructions for the activities will be emailed in a weekly newsletter and posted on our SCP Seesaw group.
- The bin will also include circle time manipulatives, white boards, a day of the week calendar, a weather chart, scissors, glue, crayons and anything else needed to complete prepared activities.
- Families can take pictures and share their creations with peers and teachers on Seesaw.
- Additional activities and worksheets will be made available in Seesaw
- The bins will be returned to preschool and refilled as we work though the activities.
Circle Time, via Zoom
- There will be two optional circle times scheduled weekly. One will be teacher led and the other will be parent led. Both virtual circles will follow the same predetermined routine.
- Just as in person class, we will enjoy periodic themed circle times (Share day, Pajama Day, Super Hero Day etc)
- Students will rotate jobs (class helper, weather person, calendar person, pet person) during circle, just like in person circle time.
- The teacher / leading parent will read stories, sing songs, demonstrate crafts, activities, experiments etc.
- Included in your “keep at home preschool” bin will be scarves, rhythm sticks, song lyric cards and song sequencing cards.
- Zoom circle times will be recorded and made available to watch via Seesaw when convenient
