This year, Stanwood Cooperative Preschool proudly celebrates 50 years of learning, laughter, friendship, and community.

Our story began in 1976 with just 10 families. It all started when one local mom answered a newspaper request from another mom who was searching for preschool options in the area. From that simple connection grew a cooperative preschool that has touched the lives of generations of children and families.

For five decades, parents, teachers, and children have learned and grown together through the cooperative preschool experience. Thousands of little learners have built friendships, discovered their curiosity, and taken their first steps into education within our classrooms.
